In my case,...

[Melbourne Travel Diary] - The Big M: Itinerary Melbourne 8 Days 7 Night

Image
Hi, peeps! I’m finally back to write on this space. This time I would like to tell you a story from my very recent trip: Melbourne - Australia! Never thought that I was actually be able to visit the most-liveable city in the world. Sometimes God works in a very mysterious way, no?

[Bali Travel Diary] - First Time in 24 Years

Image
I finally got the mood to write on this space phew. So without further ado, here we go: gue abis dari Bali loh! Sometimes I asked myself: "Who hurt you sih Ni? Being very very impulsive lately." LOL. Yah engga tau aja sih... belakangan suka ngerasa hampa. Semacam gak punya tujuan hidup. I'm still searching my life's purpose tho... Quarter life crisis is REAL.

The World of Ghibli Jakarta Exhibition : Meet Totoro in Real Life!

Image
Hi readers! I'm finally back to blog again after a looongg hiatus :D *maafkan ya karena kesibukan gue yang bikin otak mampet buat sekedar nulis-nulis di sini*. Beberapa judul film animasi legendarisnya di antaranya adalah : Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky,  Grave of the Fireflies dan masih banyak lagi. Film Spirited Away bahkan diganjar Piala Oscar...

[Lombok Travel Diary] - A Glimpse of Paradise

Image
Heyho, peeps. It's been a while since my last post. Pardon me for not writing in this space since like 3 months ago. I have tried to be more focused in blogging, but in reality... it's kinda hard to balance between work and blogging LOL. I wanna tell you about my first experience traveling to Lombok. Big thanks to the office who provided us such an exciting trip. Gonna bomb you with TONS of photos here xD So, here we go, then? First stop. Sasak Ende Traditional Village. Seems that this village is a must visit place when you were in Lombok. This village will show you the traditional houses of Sasak tribe. The Sasak people make up most of Lombok’s population. A few villages in this area do not want to modernize along with the rest of the island. These villages are characterised by their lack of modern technology. Their lifestyle is based on farming and weaving. Largely left alone for some time, these pockets of traditional island life are, however, witnessing increasing ...

Museum Nasional Indonesia : An Educational Day Out

Image
"Real museums are place where time transformed into space." - Orhan Parmuk It's summer time and everyone seems to be out-of-town due to Eid (Lebaran) holiday. So I think it was the best time to explore my own hometown: Jakarta. Me and my friend decided to take an educational day out by visiting National Museum Indonesia or popularly known as Museum Gajah (Elephant Building). For a person who always has a "thing" for history like me, I was very excited. We went there using free city tour bus that has been provided by Jakarta's government (big thanks to Pak Ahok, former Jakarta Governor who started this cool idea). Started from Istiqlal Mosque, we rode this double-decker bus. We managed to seat on the top level of the bus. Due to Lebaran holiday, this bus was full-packed with family who brought along their children. So you know, it was kinda noisy with children's nagging, curiosity and most of all : CRYING hahaha. I think the city tour bus is a good th...

Semarang Travel Diary (Part 1) : Discover the Part of Yourself

Image
"Travel is discovering the part of yourself that you never knew existed before". Critical Eleven, Ika Natassa My trip this time was the memorable one. It was my first time traveling alone (practically not all alone sih), tapi sepanjang perjalanan PP Jakarta-Semarang, I was on my own. Now I proudly declared it as an achievement *smug face* Thanks to the introvert main trait, I am now dare to travel again ALL ALONE HAHA. It was somehow relaxing when you wandered alone, getting lost and learn more about yourself.  For a well-planned and organized person like me, this was the most spontaneous and unplanned trip. I bought the train ticket two weeks prior the date and even WITHOUT ITINERARY (which is definitely a big no for me xD). I was impulsively and quickly saying "YES" when my high-school friend asked me whether I want to visit her in Semarang or not xD I could say that this very trip is some kind of "vow". I said to myself months ago; that if I m...

Singapore Travel Diary

Image
Thank God finally it's my second time writing my travel diary series. Hopefully I can do more later in the future as I'm exploring more countries :D On 2 - 5th May, I went to Singapore for the second time. This time with my dad. Actually it was a graduation gift from him. Thanks a lot, Dad! Love you to the Jupiter and back  ❤ First time I went to Singapore, we had no plan at all. I was 18 at that time (2012). Masih cupu dan pemalu banget; mau tanya orang aja sungkan setengah mampus. Syukurlah sekarang gue sudah berubah... jadi power ranger AHAHA. I think I'm step by step be more matured now. Ya iyalah, I'm going to be 23 this year! Oke, melanjutkan pengalaman ke Singapura untuk pertama kalinya... we even walked down the street from Orchard Road to Marina Bay. CAN U IMAGINE HOW FAR IT IS?!?! My dad refused to take the MRT; OMG this was so ridiculous I can't even hold myself from laughing so hard. Benar-benar sesat ...

Kuala Lumpur Travel Diary

Image
Well, well.. this is my first blogpost that talks about traveling, anyway :D I finally managed myself to get a short escape to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The first reason I went there was because I've been longing to watch MotoGP live race; as I have written on my previous post. Malaysia is my second country that I've traveled to, after Singapore. So here we go, my Kuala Lumpur travel diary... Welcomed by Neymar :D

MotoGP Sepang 2015 Live Race : A Dream Comes True!

Image
"It is the possibility of having dream comes true that makes life interesting." - Paulo Coelho It's official that MotoGP Sepang 2015 live race is off my bucket list! Thank God, I finally got the chance to see that sports live with my own eyes!!!
